A LITTLE CEREMONY
The method.
Prepare a frosty glass
Set out a clean highball glass for one serving and fill it with 100 g crushed ice.
Measure the drink
Pour the one-serving measures of Chartreuse, pineapple juice, lime juice, and falernum over the crushed ice. Keep the mint and nutmeg aside.
Swizzle until cold
Roll a swizzle stick between your palms, or stir briskly with a long bar spoon, until the outside of the glass frosts. Keep the ice in the glass.
Complete the garnish
Add another 40 g crushed ice to form a low mound. Place the measured mint sprig beside the rim and scatter the measured nutmeg over the top.
